About the Concrete Operator Position
As a concrete operator, you will be responsible for concrete pumping at various construction sites. The concrete operator may also need to clean the mixer truck and equipment, as assigned by the supervisor. The concrete pump is an important part of this position because it helps with efficient mixing on-site. This job requires a lot of physical strength which means you should have experience in heavy lifting.
Concrete Operator Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment
- Check concrete slump and adjust mix accordingly
- Operate concrete pumps, mixers, placing boom, and other equipment as necessary
- Inspect concrete for proper placement and finish
- Assist in the removal of concrete from forms, slabs, or other structures once set is achieved
Concrete Operator Requirements: Driver's License (Required), US Work Authorization (Required), and three years of Concrete Finishing Experience (Preferred).
